Lizzie received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences (USA) San Marcos, CA in 2013. She specializes in functional manual therapy, improving efficiency of movement and posture, and treating chronic pain conditions. She treats from head to toe, including migraines, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (the jaw), and Vestibular that includes dizziness and other associated symptoms. She also specializes in back, neck and postural conditions.

 

She started her training with Tassinari Physical Therapy before achieving her DPT. Becoming part of the Tassinari team after graduating from her undergraduate program in 2007, she worked closely with Marcia and Rusty for more than 3 years not only helping to manage the office, but also assisting Marcia with the development of the SHUBA program. She helped with classes at the local church,  participated in programs at the YMCA and local community centers, and assisted in developing the instructional materials for the postural program.

 

She is passionate about patient care, considers the full patient history and takes a whole-body approach to treatment. She has completed several continuing education courses that have built a thorough manual therapy approach. These include courses through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA) and the Doctoral Program at University of Saint Augustine. She is also a Pain Free Performance Specialist which focuses on improved functional mobility and strengthening.

 

Lizzie was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She remains close to all of her family here. She enjoys spending time with her partner, Wayne, and his son, attending his baseball games, hiking, camping, and enjoying their yard with their three dogs.
